My name is Meghan and I’m an avid traveler, mountain runner, driftwood photographer and mom to a beautiful daughter and two loving golden retrievers. Over the past decade I have made a ritual of trekking the beaches of Victoria, British Columbia attempting to capture the often understated beauty of driftwood. I believe these photos can teach us a bit about aging gracefully and illuminates our strength and resiliency as humans. We weather our own storms and have our lines and scars to prove it…and ultimately they shape who we are as individuals. As you’ll see, every piece tells a story and is subject to interpretation. Hope you enjoy the site and I welcome your feedback.

This site is dedicated to my late golden retriever, Stella who was the ultimate sidekick and driftwood-lover extraordinaire. She was always like a pup when we would go on excursions and enjoyed chewing driftwood. She often made the best finds. The challenge was always beating her to it. The beach was her haven and without her I likely would never stumbled upon exploring driftwood as a creative outlet.
love it cuz…you should do up some prints and send them to me to sell in the shop!! xo
